The PADI Distinctive Great White Shark Distinctive Specialty Course runs for 3 days, costs £600.00 and includes:

• 2 great white shark cage dives.
• 1 Scuba Orientated kelp dive with Cat Sharks
• 3 nights accommodation (4 star).
• All meals inclusive, (picnic lunch on the boat).

2 Evening lectures, hosted by Michael Rutzen. Topics covered include the biology, ecology, behaviour and conservation of the great white shark.

Michael Rutzen is world renown for being one of the few people in the world who has the knowledge and expertise to interact with great white sharks outside the safety of a cage! This course does NOT teach you how to free dive with great white sharks and at no time will you dive outside the cage with them!

However Michael’s presentations are supported with breath taking footage showing the complex social structure, body language and feeding behaviour of this awesome predator.

Experience the thrill of being underwater and surrounded by great white sharks! Feel the exposure of free diving while remaining safe inside the cage. Dive with great white shark expert Michael Rutzen world famous for free diving with great white sharks. Mike will accompany you in the cage whilst you are on scuba and submerged below the surface. His ability to predict great white shark behaviour enables him to decipher the shark’s subtle body language. Observe how great white sharks utilize the water column and how they interact with one another. See great white sharks from all angles as they swim over your head!

This incredible opportunity is ONLY available to students who have completed Shark Diving Unlimited’s 3 day PADI Great White Specialty course. This focused course teaches you the theory behind understanding great white shark behaviour. Now on Shark Diving Unlimited’s Advance Cage Dive you can test the theories and experience the practical side of great white shark diving! The cage has no lid which allows for unrestricted fantastic photos and video to be taken. But at no time will you leave the protection of the cage.
